Advisory Neighborhood Commission (ANC)
The ANC connects the neighborhood to and serves as liaison with the District government. Sheridan-Kalorama’s two ANC Commissioners address all issues affecting community members, including zoning and traffic control questions, police and fire service, and Mitchell Park issues. The Commission meets monthly (except July, August, and December) at Our Lady Queen of the Americas Church, 2200 California St. These monthly meetings provide the best opportunity for residents to discover what is happening in the neighborhood, express their views and opinions on issues, and raise concerns.
